Leila Motta, D.O.M, AP, Dipl. O.M., ADS. is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine a board-certified licensed acupuncture physician. Dr. Motta graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) in Laurel, Maryland with the degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She obtained her Masters degree in Acupuncture and earned her Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has worked in health care settings for more than 15 years including medical aesthetics and massage therapy.
Dr. Motta holds a Diplomate Certification in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a Florida state license and is a Nationally Board-Certified Acupuncturist. She is also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) and holds certification in injection therapy as well. Dr. Motta specializes in Neuro Acupuncture and studied at Neuro Acupuncture Institute (NAI) New Mexico.
Specializing in pain management, primary care offering a diverse skillset of effective treatments to relieve sciatica, chronic and acute pain, muscular and joint discomfort, stress (PTSD), headaches, anxiety, digestive issues, fertility challenges, and other general health concerns. Dr. Motta integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques—including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping therapy, gua-sha, light therapy and cosmetic acupuncture facial rejuvenation.
